Dear Mrs. Earl:
For
the past couple of months we have been doing a great deal of investigation for
you on several fronts of your research. Some of it ourselves and some has been
subcontracted out. With this report I will address the activities that have
occurred during this search period and their results. I know you will be very
happy with many of the results here. In particular the extension of the Wood,
Webb and Earl lines back four more generations.
I. SUBJECTS OF THIS SEARCH:
With
this search we took a wider spectrum of investigation as I wanted to bring more
of these lines in consistent development with each other. As a result, I spent
some time on all of the lines. With this search period we conducted further
work on the William & Emily Durban Family, on Francis & Mary Webb Family,
and on the James & Catherine Dickie Family. As well, on your husband's line,
our search involved that on the George & Sophia Earl Family and the Josiah
& Frances Wood Family.

Harriet Aslett. Located five documented children: Emma (1846), Elizabeth (1848),
Mary (1850), Sarah (1857), & Charles (1868).
2. Searched manuscript collections for any references to early colonial settlers
on the mainland of British Columbia in search of information on James Dickey
Sr. Located several references on his land acquisitions for homestead.

comprehensive and will fill-in many of the missing pieces on this side of your
family.
