Reporting Procedures
With each report, the client will receive a
comprehensive array of documents.
Research reports consist of several components:
- A summary/research log accounting for research hours, expenses incurred,
detail sources searched and positive/negative outcomes
- Source details on all record sources examined and specific footnote references
on positive results found
- Copies of all pertinent documents found
- Detailed Reports with suggestions for further research (refer to Sample
Research Report)
- Laser printouts of pedigree charts and family group records
- A detailed statement of your account listing fees, accumulated expenses,
research & reporting hours, and current balance
- Unless you request our priority service, you will usually receive your initial
report within 3-4 months of receipt of your retainer. All forensic work receives
priority service and reports may be issued within anywhere from one week to
several months, depending on the assignment. Any requests for charting and
word-processing will be undertaken immediately upon receipt.
